Pharmacists may recognize and report doping schemes

When and how should a pharmacist report doping?

Pharmacists should be trained to recognize and report unusual prescribing trends that involve WADA Prohibited Substances or NCAA Banned Substances. Does it give the appearance of doping? Does it violate anti-doping laws?

When in doubt, report it as a tip and leave it up to the anti-doping authorities to figure it out. Don't need to investigate yourself. Tip lines: WADA Speak Up, USADA Play Clean, International Testing Agency Reveal, and Submit a Tip DEA.

Don't risk your hard-earned pharmacist license. Most antidoping training is available for free through WADA ADEL and many national antidoping agencies, like USADA HealthPro Advantage and Drug Free Sport CE.
