Congratulations on taking the first step toward earning the title of Team Pharmacist.* This training is offered in partnership with the U.S. Sports Pharmacy Group (USSPG). It is aimed at training pharmacists to work with elite athlete who are in a Registered Testing Pool, those striving to be elite athletes, or competitive athletes. Team Pharmacists abide by the same anti-doping code that these athletes must adhere to, recognizing the additional restrictions on medication use and the risks of dietary supplements. Athletes, even as they compete at the super human level, still have basic human medical conditions that may require pharmacotherapy or may be assisted with supplements, which the Team Pharmacist can anticipate and help assess for use in the clinical setting for the athletes of Team USA.
